I bought Coby MP-600-4G as a Christmas (2009) for my daughter. It died August 31, 2010. Product freezes during booting at the Coby logo. Run, Hide, don't bother buying this product.
Complete and utter waste of money

This was a total waste of money. I received this for a present at Christmas and by January it was not working! (My boyfriend is very upset about it and they should refund his money.) It started freezing up and having "file system error" come on the screen, which in this state you can do nothing. You can try to reset it by pushing a pin in the little hole on back, reformat, do everything and it freezes up immediately. It does this to so many of them, that they have a place on their website to download a "fix" file system error". Doesn't work. I think, I will send it back to them with my thoughts about their product, cuz it is not doing anything except collect dust at my house! There must be some that work judging by the reviews, but it for us a waste of $30 and a big fat waste of lots of time trying to get it to work. Do Not Buy, you'll wish you hadn't. I am going to spend a little more money and get a different brand that works!

I got the 2gb version of this mp3 player and have had it for about a year. Even the 2gb version can have up to 1,000 songs or 5 hours of video (if im right) or 1,0000 photos. So the 4gb should hold twice that much. Anyway this mp3 player is great like all mp3 players it has FM radio E-books and settings. And it is well worth the money.
(P.S. At Shopko if it's on sale you could get the 2GB version for $20 and the 4GB version for $30)

I needed something not too expensive just to play my music when I'm on the go. The Coby Flash MP3 player does just that. It's quite portable, and it holds all the music that I need. You also can get free music from the Coby website once you've purchased the item. Furhtermore, the price is great. I never to expected to pay under [...] for it. If you just need sonething simple to download your music to, I recommend this product.
